One of the leading names in the technical death metal scene, ALLEGAEON has released a new performance video for “Dark Matter Dynamics,” a track taken from its latest album, The Ossuary Lens. The video also highlights the band’s collaboration with guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Adrian Bellue.

“Dark Matter Dynamics” stands out as one of the album’s most compelling compositions, blending ALLEGAEON’s trademark technical intensity with a variety of musical textures. Featuring a prominent use of acoustic guitar elements, the track balances the band’s aggressive and intricate approach with more atmospheric and emotional passages. Adrian Bellue’s contribution further accentuates this dimension of the song.

The new video arrives ahead of the band’s upcoming appearance at Flatline Fest in Denver, Colorado.

ALLEGAEON is expected to perform “Dark Matter Dynamics” live alongside Bellue during the festival. The event will also feature notable names from the death metal scene, including CATTLE DECAPITATION and THE ZENITH PASSAGE.

Released earlier this year, The Ossuary Lens marks the seventh full-length studio album of ALLEGAEON’s career. The record is also notable for being the first release recorded following the return of vocalist Ezra Haynes after many years away from the band. Tracked with producer Dave Otero at Denver’s Flatline Audio studio, the album has received positive feedback from both critics and listeners thanks to its blend of technical prowess and strong melodic sensibilities.

The newly released performance video is being viewed as yet another indication that ALLEGAEON continues to expand its technical mastery through diverse musical approaches in this new chapter of the band’s evolution.
