The international lineup of AMNÏON brings together musicians from the US and Germany. The band features Florida-based guitarist Jason Gobel, Texas-based vocalist Grant Petty, and German musicians Matthias Hechler, Gernot Leinert, and Sanjai Shah Hauschild. Gobel’s previous work with CYNIC, MONSTROSITY, and GORDIAN KNOT forms a notable part of the band’s technical musical background.

The video for ‘Perish Twice’ also became one of the meeting points for this international collaboration in Germany. Filmed at a custom car workshop provided by the band’s friend Niky Santana, the production took place at Santana Lackier- & Karosseriezentrum. Santana Lackier- & Karosseriezentrum served as the location, with Mohsen Rashidi handling directing, cinematography, and editing, while Pedram Nourazar contributed photography and camera work.

AMNÏON drummer Sanjai Shah Hauschild highlighted Rashidi and Nourazar’s contribution to the video, noting that the finished work reflects the band’s character. Rashidi, meanwhile, said the production focused on translating the balance between the track’s technical aggression and atmospheric spaces into a visual language through different camera angles and contrasting lighting.

During the same weekend, AMNÏON also worked with producer Christian "Kohle" Kohlmannslehner. Video interviews and behind-the-scenes material planned for release in the run-up to the album were produced at Kohlekeller Studio.

The visual identity of ‘Perish Twice’ was created by the band’s longtime collaborator Athanasios Tsintsaris. Through Kleon Publishing, AMNÏON moved slightly away from the strict symmetry used for their previous artwork and ‘Onyx Heart’, while retaining the frame and logo that define their established visual identity.

"Spiral Love" emerged from a new chapter for AMNÏON following the breakup, around five years ago, of the technical thrash metal band in which its members had previously been active since the 1990s. Gernot Leinert and Sanjai Shah Hauschild continued making music, eventually reshaping the project around a metal approach unrestricted by genre boundaries.

The project developed further with the addition of Matthias Hechler, followed by Jason Gobel and Grant Petty, giving the band an international lineup. Gobel travelled to Germany, while Petty made the trip from Texas to work on lyrics and record vocals with the other members. The band says this process became an important stage in the development of "Spiral Love", with each musician bringing their own background and approach to the project.

Pre-orders for "Spiral Love" are now available on vinyl, CD, and digital formats. The album will be released via M-Theory Audio on January 29, 2027.
