With their tenth album, "Beswærilsin", ARCKANUM is turning Shamaatae's Thursian spiritual practice into a cohesive work that connects music, lyrics, and visual imagery. The album, set for release through Darkness Shall Rise Productions, will arrive on October 31 in CD, vinyl, and cassette formats.

It is difficult to describe "Beswærilsin" as simply another new recording in ARCKANUM's discography. Shaped as part of Shamaatae's Thursatru workings, the album treats music, lyrics, sound, and visual elements as interconnected components of the same ritual expression. The Left-Hand Path approach that the band has followed since its inception also forms the work's central ideological axis.

One of the album's notable elements is that its lyrics are written in Old Swedish (fornsvenska). Drawing from Old Norse and Swedish poetic traditions, the texts also incorporate elements of the Swedish svartkonst tradition. They are conceived as mythic charms and narrative incantations invoking the Thursian current.

Musically, "Beswærilsin" brings together the foundations of ARCKANUM's early period with Shamaatae's current approach to composition. The album's production is notably raw and unpolished; stripped of unnecessary ornamentation, its sound puts aggression front and center. According to Darkness Shall Rise Productions, the recording creates an atmosphere that moves between the freezing storms of Niflheimr and the searing fury of Múspellsheimr.

This approach suggests that the individual will and resistance to imposed order that have long been central to ARCKANUM's music are addressed in a more cohesive form on the new album. "Beswærilsin" is therefore presented not merely as a collection of new songs, but as an album bringing Shamaatae's spiritual and artistic work together under one roof.

The album's first single will be released on October 4.
