Swedish speed metal band ARMORY have released their new track ‘Pillars of Fire’ ahead of their fourth studio album, "Echoes of the Astrolith". The song is the second track to be unveiled from the album and also offers a broader introduction to new vocalist C. Rostoff within the context of the forthcoming record.

Based in Gothenburg and active since 2012, ARMORY take the speed metal foundation of their previous work in a darker and heavier direction with "Echoes of the Astrolith". According to the band, C. Rostoff’s vocals are prominent throughout the album, while its nine main tracks feature more technically oriented song structures and a denser musical approach. The tenth track, ‘Omens’, is an instrumental.

The changes on the new album are not limited to the vocal lineup. The core sound established on last year’s "Black Star" EP moves in a harsher and darker direction with "Echoes of the Astrolith". While ARMORY retain their speed metal foundations in this new era, the band expands its song structures with technical details.

Before ‘Pillars of Fire’, the album’s previously released track ‘Interceptor Squadron’ was also made available through Deaf Forever. This brings the number of tracks unveiled so far from the band’s fourth album to two.

"Echoes of the Astrolith" will be released internationally on October 23 via Dying Victims Productions.
