Hailing from southern Finland, death metal outfit AZATOTH will release their debut studio album, "Carnal Lust of Blasphemy", on August 21 through Extremely Rotten Productions. The nine-track record will be available on CD, vinyl, cassette, and digital formats.

The album's first single, 'Veins Of Rotten Blood', has already been released. AZATOTH's musical approach draws from old-school Finnish death metal, '90s American death-grind, and bestial black metal. The band also cites horror classics such as Hellraiser and The Thing, along with vintage zombie films, as sources of inspiration.

"Carnal Lust of Blasphemy" is rooted in a dark strain of death metal built around heavy guitars, dense bass tones, and blast beats. The album was recorded at The Juvanmalmi Crypt in 2024, with the sessions taking approximately four months.
