Hailing from Vantaa, Finland, AZATOTH are entering a new phase of their career with their debut full-length, "Carnal Lust of Blasphemy", following a journey that began in 2020. Released through Extremely Rotten Productions, the album marks the band's first full-length effort after two previous EPs and a split release.

Musically, the album sits at the intersection of old-school Finnish death metal, '90s American death-grind, and bestial black metal. AZATOTH shape this mixture around death rituals and grotesque imagery drawn from the underworld, while their inspirations also include Hellraiser, The Thing, and classic zombie films.

The influence of horror cinema extends beyond the visual references, shaping the album's overall atmosphere as well. "Carnal Lust of Blasphemy" unfolds across nine tracks steeped in visions of hell, decay, and an ever-present sense of menace.

The recording process also played an important role in bringing the band's debut full-length to life. AZATOTH recorded the album at The Juvanmalmi Crypt in 2024, working on it over a four-month period. The death metal approach the band has pursued since its formation is thus expanded into a more fully developed form on its first full-length.

The album includes tracks such as 'Flooding Human Remains', 'Veins Of Rotten Blood', 'Abomination Of The Underworld', 'Abhorrent Reincarnation', and 'Blasphemous Flesh'. The nine-song record also features the interlude 'Interlude (Awaiting The Oncoming'.

"Carnal Lust of Blasphemy" is now available through Extremely Rotten Productions on CD, vinyl, cassette, and digital formats.

AZATOTH's current lineup features J. “Nuclear Lucifer” Das on bass and vocals, D. “Chainsaw” Gamache and R. “Bogman” Levo on guitars, and J. “Godvomit” Hämäläinen on drums.
