Capital Punishment Festival has announced the full lineup for its 2026 edition, bringing together Canada’s underground metal scene with punk, hardcore and alternative music in Ottawa from November 26–29. BEYOND CREATION, HELLRIPPER, THE CREEPSHOW and THE DAMN TRUTH are among the festival’s standout names across four days.

Spread across four venues in Ottawa’s ByWard Market district, the festival will host shows at 27 Club, Dominion Tavern, Rainbow Bistro and Avant-Garde Bar. This year’s edition will be the largest in the festival’s history, bringing together more than 80 artists from across Canada.

For extreme metal fans, one of the lineup’s notable pairings is the appearance of progressive death metal outfit BEYOND CREATION and Scottish blackened speed metal act HELLRIPPER on separate days. HELLRIPPER will play Dominion Tavern on November 27 alongside WARSENAL, THE SCEPTER, SHROUD and DISMAL AURA. BEYOND CREATION will take the stage at 27 Club on November 29, sharing the bill with INSURRECTION, GLAND, HATRED REIGNS, LAST REICH, DISSENTIENT and BITTER.

Other highlights include psychobilly outfit THE CREEPSHOW and rock band THE DAMN TRUTH. Both will perform at 27 Club on November 28 alongside FERAL UNION, THE SPACE BETWEEN, RISING FLAME and REFUSE. The lineup also features DBC, BARF, GHOULUNATICS, ENTROPY, REANIMATOR, GLOBAL HOLOCAUST, BORN BROKEN and DUSKWALKER, representing different corners of Canada’s underground scene.

Organized by Chord Productions with support from Ottawa Tourism, the festival aims not only to bring live music to the city but also to support the local music community and downtown businesses. Michael Crockatt, President and CEO of Ottawa Tourism, noted that the event helps promote Ottawa as a cultural destination. The festival also receives support from Ottawa Tourism’s Nightlife Tourism Development Fund.

Four-day passes granting access to all festival shows are priced at CAD 50. Single-day tickets range from CAD 15 to CAD 35, depending on the lineup and venue.
