COC Unleash New Video “Baad Man” as Tour Launches
Corrosion of Conformity Release “Baad Man”
Veterans of the American heavy metal scene Corrosion of Conformity are back with their new video “Baad Man.” At the same time, the band is kicking off the second leg of their North American tour today, marking a fast start to their summer run.
A Night-Soaked Clip: “Baad Man”
The video for “Baad Man” was shot on the streets of Kansas City at close to midnight and directed by Jeffrey Sisson and Jason Cantu. The clip delivers an atmosphere that visually reinforces the band’s recent dark yet groove-driven aesthetic.
The track opens the second disc of the band’s double album Good God / Baad Man, released in April via Nuclear Blast. The record stands out for its wide sonic range, bringing together aggressive punk influences and Southern hard rock/stoner elements under the same roof.
Guitarist and vocalist Pepper Keenan describes the song as carrying the feeling of a “released character” that reflects the band’s stage energy, emphasizing that its chaotic and dynamic structure captures the spirit of their current era.
A Double Album, Two Distinct Identities
Good God / Baad Man was recorded across multiple studio environments during its production process, stretching from Mississippi to Louisiana and into private studios in Miami, giving the album a broad and layered character. Grammy Award-winning producer Warren Riker is behind the production.
The album moves through two separate identities:
The Good God side delivers a heavier, angrier, and more intense approach
The Baad Man side leans toward groove-driven rock with a stronger sense of “rock’n’roll freedom”
The band treats this division as a deliberate creative direction, building a structure in which each track operates within its own universe.
Tour Fire Rages On Again
Following their European tour, COC are returning to North American stages. The new leg, which began on July 6 in Houston, runs through July 22 in Nebraska. Whores and Crobot are joining the band on the road.
The tour route spans from Los Angeles to Seattle, Vancouver to Denver, covering a wide circuit across North America. Later in the summer, the band will return to the European festival circuit with appearances at Wacken, Brutal Assault, and various club and festival shows. In October, they will head back to the US for the Aftershock Festival, keeping the momentum alive.

New Era, New Line-Up
The current live lineup continues to center around Pepper Keenan and Woody Weatherman, with Bobby Landgraf on bass and Nick Shabatura on drums. This configuration is seen as a natural continuation of the band’s ongoing evolution in recent years.
With all these developments, Corrosion of Conformity stand at a point where they carry their legacy forward while injecting fresh energy into their live presence. “Baad Man” emerges as one of the clearest and most immediate signs of this ongoing chapter.
