Spanish heavy metal band CRIMSON COVEN have released their new song ‘Children of the Same Sun’ ahead of their debut studio album “I - The Forge”. The track is part of the album’s nine-song lineup, which is set for release on October 9, 2026, via Cruz Del Sur Music.

Available to stream via the music video, ‘Children of the Same Sun’ reflects the dark and atmospheric side of the album, which the band describes through their own “Spell-forged Heavy Metal” approach. CRIMSON COVEN emerged in 2025 with their debut demo “0 - The Genesis”. With their new album, they aim to build on the direction established by that release through more expressive and emotionally rich compositions, carefully crafted instrumentation, and vocal melodies and lyrics.

The narrative world of “I - The Forge” revisits myths, legends, and historical stories through the lens of social justice. Musically, the band’s approach is rooted in a dark true metal tradition carrying the influence of early CANDLEMASS, MANOWAR, and MERCYFUL FATE.

A separate track stream is also available for the album’s title track, ‘Crimson Coven’.

Following the album’s release, CRIMSON COVEN will embark on an Iberian tour with ATLANTEAN KODEX and TRIUMPHER in February 2027. The four-date run will begin in Portugalete on February 4 and conclude in Valencia on February 7.
