Swedish thrash metal band Dead Sleep have added another link to their release schedule ahead of their upcoming EP Repulsion. The band has shared their new single “Bring Me The Head” along with the official music video for the track. Having previously issued the tracks “Children of the Blade” and “Repulsion” from the EP set for release on June 26, 2026, the group continues the rollout with a release that pushes their harsher, more brooding atmosphere even further.

The Malmö-based outfit recorded the new song once again at Sunnanå Studios in their hometown. Markus Nilsson handled production duties, while the visual world of the track bears the signature of Bartosz Nalezinski. With this new single, the band not only delivers aggressive thrash riffs, but also stands out with its dark narrative and dramatic thematic scope.

“Bring Me The Head” is built around a story centered on obsession, desire, and revenge. Drawing inspiration from the biblical figure Salome in its lyrics, Dead Sleep translate the tension between sanctity and hatred directly into the musical structure. Throughout the track, high-speed riffs and relentless drumming take the lead, occasionally giving way to slower passages of heavy groove and ominous guitar sections. In particular, the dark tonality of the vocal performance pushes the song’s atmosphere into an even more menacing territory.

Since their formation, Dead Sleep have been known for blending classic thrash metal foundations with punk energy, maintaining a nonconformist approach that resists strict genre boundaries. With this latest single ahead of the new EP, the band demonstrates that they have preserved their aggressive core while simultaneously developing a darker and more narrative-driven expression.
