DREAM UNENDING have released ‘Strained Sincerity’, the first single from their third studio album, "Certain Uncertainties". The album is set for release on October 30, 2026, via 20 Buck Spin.

Formed by Derrick Vella (TOMB MOLD) and Justin DeTore (INNUMERABLE FORMS, MAGIC CIRCLE), DREAM UNENDING retain the Death Doom foundation developed across their first two albums while moving toward a leaner, more direct recording approach on their new release. "Certain Uncertainties" was recorded with fewer layers, giving the instruments greater room to breathe and move naturally.

At the heart of this shift is Vella’s guitar work. Drawing on Blues, Jazz and Progressive Rock, the guitars occasionally carry the character of American Roots Music beyond the boundaries of Doom. DeTore’s drumming, meanwhile, gives the compositions a more physical momentum while helping the songs move forward with greater economy.

The album’s musical world is not built solely around heaviness. By leaving more space between the songs’ various elements, DREAM UNENDING also make room for improvisation and imperfect moments. The band develops this approach through a series of distinct vignettes, with Western atmospheres, a late-night noir feel, desert landscapes and empty roads emerging throughout the album’s overall aesthetic.

This approach is also connected to the personal transformation behind the album. Written during a period when Vella was rebuilding his confidence in taking risks, "Certain Uncertainties" explores doubt without surrendering to despair. Brendan Radigan of MAGIC CIRCLE and PAGAN ALTAR contributes guest vocals to ‘I Carry Your Burden’, while the title track takes on a more improvisational character.

The guest appearances do not end there. VASTUM member Leila Abdul-Rauf also contributes to the album. Arthur Rizk handled the mixing and mastering, while Benjamin Vierling created the cover artwork.

"Certain Uncertainties" consists of six tracks. DREAM UNENDING’s lineup features Justin DeTore on drums and vocals, with Derrick Vella handling guitars and bass.
