Swedish thrash metal outfit Dead Sleep have officially released their new EP, Repulsion. Marking the occasion, the band have also unveiled a brand-new music video for "Leech from Čachtice", bringing their recent run of singles to its conclusion.

Following the previously released tracks "Children of the Blade", "Repulsion", and "Bring Me the Head", "Leech from Čachtice" serves as the final piece in the EP's promotional campaign. With its arrival, Repulsion is now fully available across all major digital streaming platforms.

Musically, the track stands out by blending classic heavy metal and early speed metal influences with uncompromising death metal aggression. Driven by its relentless pace and old-school thrash metal spirit, the song delivers a fierce sonic assault. Lyrically, it takes a fictional perspective on one of history's most controversial figures, Elizabeth Báthory. While exploring the dark motivations behind the infamous legend, the track also reflects on how the name Báthory has evolved into a lasting symbol of "evil" throughout history.

Formed in Malmö, Dead Sleep have consistently chosen to forge their own musical path rather than conforming to a specific scene or subgenre. Fusing punk energy, the spirit of classic thrash metal, and a raw production aesthetic, the band once again reinforces that identity with Repulsion.

The Repulsion EP is now available on all major digital platforms, while the official music video for "Leech from Čachtice" can be viewed through the band's official channels.
