ENDLESS CHAIN Announces New Album “Nothingness”
ENDLESS CHAIN Returns
Finnish melodic death/gothic metal band ENDLESS CHAIN has announced its signing with M-Theory Audio alongside the unveiling of its third studio album, “Nothingness.” Set for worldwide release on November 20, the album will be preceded by the newly released single ‘Fade to Nothingness.’
Founded by Timo Mölsä, ENDLESS CHAIN continues to explore the musical territory between melancholic gothic metal and melodic death metal on its new album. The band’s approach, which brings together atmospheric melodies, heavy riffs, and dark narratives, will form the foundation of “Nothingness.”
Released as the album’s first preview, ‘Fade to Nothingness’ is described as one of the heaviest tracks ENDLESS CHAIN has recorded to date, while still retaining the band’s melodic and atmospheric side. The song was among the first pieces Mölsä wrote for the album and serves as the first musical glimpse into the band’s new era. A music video produced by Winter Notes Production accompanies the track.
According to vocalist Aki Salonen, ‘Fade to Nothingness’ deals with the dark state of mind that comes with finally accepting that what happened in the past can no longer be undone. The song’s lyrics revolve around a narrative that can be interpreted in different ways, ranging from relationships and serious illness to death.

ENDLESS CHAIN’s deal with M-Theory Audio follows the release of the band’s second album, “Agony,” in 2024. After issuing their debut album, “Forthcoming Past,” in 2021, the band continued its work with a lineup consisting of Aki Salonen, Timo Mölsä, Aleksanteri Kuosa, and Samuli Mikkonen. “Agony” further expanded the band’s sound across 10 tracks, incorporating gothic and progressive elements alongside the clean vocals of Ville Hovi and Aki Salonen’s harsh vocals.

ENDLESS CHAIN’s new album, “Nothingness,” will be released via M-Theory Audio on November 20. The physical editions will be available as a Digipak CD and a limited edition of 300 colored, wood-look vinyl copies.
