Swedish old-school death metal outfit Filth have unveiled the release date and first details of their highly anticipated second full-length, Death Exhibition. The album is set for release on September 11, arriving in Europe via Me Saco Un Ojo Records, while Rotted Life will handle its North American release across various physical formats.

After blending the classic Swedish death metal sound with a modern production approach on their debut album Time to Rot, the trio aim to push that formula even further on their latest effort. Remaining true to their raw and primitive riff-driven style, Filth place greater emphasis on atmosphere and dynamic songwriting, resulting in a broader and more immersive sonic landscape than their debut.

While Death Exhibition firmly embraces the legacy of the Swedish death metal tradition, it also stands out through the band's own identity, marked by its dark atmosphere and distinctive twists. The album's instrumental pieces serve as more than mere interludes, emerging as key elements that reinforce the record's bleak narrative.

The album was recorded with a fully analog production approach, reflecting the band's intention to capture a raw, organic, and suffocating sound. That decision further enhances Filth's filthy, crushing take on old-school death metal.

The album's first single, "Mental Butchery," is now available for streaming. The full tracklist for Death Exhibition is as follows:
