Norwegian hard rock band FLIGHT will reissue their self-titled debut album, originally released in 2015, on vinyl via Dying Victims Productions on 18 December. Originally released through Bad Omen Records, the album marked the first expression of the band’s musical approach, rooted in the proto-metal and hard rock sounds of the 1970s.

Since forming in 2012, FLIGHT have followed a path that brings the rock sound of that era into the present with their own distinctive interpretation rather than simply imitating it. The debut draws on influences ranging from THIN LIZZY’s classic era and SCORPIONS’ In Trance period to RAINBOW’s early work and the formative recordings of UFO and RIOT. Warm guitar tones, dynamic shifts and hard rock-driven compositions are among the album’s defining features.

Following the release of Echoes of Journeys Past in 2023, this reissue will bring FLIGHT’s debut back to listeners on vinyl after more than a decade.
