Tor-Helge Skei, a founding member of MANES and LETHE, is unveiling his new project HOLISSSTIK with its debut album, "Chapter 1: This Endless Solitude". Due out on August 14, 2026 via Season of Mist, the eight-track album is available to stream in full one day ahead of its official release.

HOLISSSTIK took shape in Skei's studio, initially emerging as a solo project. Built around guitars, recording software, and plug-ins developed by Skei himself, the album's production process later expanded to include contributions from a range of musicians. More than 15 contributors ultimately took part in the project.

Among them are RAGE OF LIGHT vocalist Martyna Halas, Marita Hellem of MARTYRA, French rapper Pierre Ripka, Paritta monks, and members of MANES and LETHE. The project's collaborative nature is also reflected in its name. HOLISSSTIK derives from the Greek word "Hólos", one of the roots of the English word "whole".

The album's musical framework likewise brings together different genres and approaches. Opening single 'The Rhythm of Silence' combines trip-hop and industrial noise with rap passages, while themes of death, anxiety, obsessive thoughts, and psychological tension run throughout "Chapter 1: This Endless Solitude".

'Reoccuring Dreams' moves from soft synth layers into a darker atmosphere, while 'Would You Take This Heart' stands among the album's more hopeful moments. The closing track, 'This Endless Solitude', moves beyond the record's darkness toward ideas of transformation and transcending the self.

"Chapter 1: This Endless Solitude" was recorded, produced, and mixed by Skei. Knut V. Prytz handled the mastering, while the cover artwork was created by Adrien Bousson.

The full album is available to stream via the Season of Mist YouTube channel ahead of its official release on August 14.
