I DENY Release New EP “İNFİAL”
Anger, reckoning, resistance against injustice.
Istanbul-based metal band I DENY have released their debut EP, “İNFİAL”, featuring four tracks performed entirely in Turkish. The band addresses themes of anger, hypocrisy, oppression, and injustice through a direct and unfiltered approach.
The four tracks on “İNFİAL” revolve around confrontation and resistance, each from a different perspective. The EP’s opening track, 'Riyakâr', focuses on confronting betrayal and hypocrisy, while 'Yüzüme Bak' centers on reckoning and defiance.
'Leş Düzen' channels a rising anger against exploitation and injustice, whereas 'Çıkmazın İçinde' deals with the mental struggle created by oppression and imposed constraints, focusing on refusing to surrender and remaining standing. The band states that the lyrics draw not only from their own experiences but also from events they have witnessed around them.
Performed entirely in Turkish, the EP represents the first step in the band’s aim to convey their thoughts directly to listeners and turn the energy of their live shows into a shared experience.
The mixing and mastering of “İNFİAL” were handled by Onur Ağar. The video for 'Riyakâr' was produced by 0mm, while the EP’s cover artwork was created by Nesrenjake.

I DENY’s lineup consists of Arda Özgültekin on vocals, Onur Ağar on bass and vocals, Kaan Karasu on guitar, and Göksel Eriştirenoğlu on drums.
The band’s next show will take place on August 29 at Blind İstanbul alongside Radical Noise. I DENY will announce further live dates in the near future.
