IGORRR has finally announced its long-awaited return to North America. The French experimental music outfit will hit stages across the US and Canada as part of an extensive tour set to kick off this fall. Joining the band throughout the nearly month-long run will be avant-garde cult act Secret Chiefs 3 and Japanese electronic black metal collective Violent Magic Orchestra.

The tour will launch on September 18 in Worcester, Massachusetts, before wrapping up in Toronto on October 20. Spanning major cities including Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles, Houston, and New York, the trek is shaping up to be one of IGORRR’s most expansive North American runs in recent years.

Gautier Serre, the mastermind behind the project, stated that the band is incredibly excited to return to US stages once again. Reflecting on the intensity of the previous tour, the musician emphasized that they have been eager for a long time to reconnect with North American audiences.

The shows will continue the promotional cycle for “Amen,” the critically acclaimed album released last fall. Issued via Metal Blade Records, the record drew attention for pushing IGORRR’s experimental vision into darker and more abrasive territory. The album also features guest appearances from Scott Ian, Trey Spruance, and Mike Leon.

Known for its unconventional formula stretching from baroque music to grindcore, and from electronic chaos to progressive metal textures, IGORRR has become one of the most singular forces in the extreme music scene in recent years. With the upcoming tour, the band will bring the chaotic and theatrical atmosphere of the “Amen” era to North American stages on a large scale for the very first time.
