Polish cinematic metal project JASMENO has released an official video for ‘His Rebirth’, taken from their upcoming album “Assemblage of Cinematic Idioms”. The track features PATRIARKH vocalist Bartłomiej Krysiuk as a guest vocalist.

Released on September 1, ‘His Rebirth’ showcases one of the notable collaborations on the album, marking JASMENO’s return after nearly four years of silence. The video was directed by Łukasz Unterscheutz and Piotr Pędziszewski.

Shaped by JASMENO founder Sławomir Nietupski, “Assemblage of Cinematic Idioms” represents a shift from the progressive rock and melodic electronica of the project’s previous releases toward a more cinematic direction. The six-track album runs for nearly 50 minutes and is built around the use of a virtual symphony orchestra.

The album’s title also points to the idea at the heart of this approach. Drawing inspiration from Władysław Hasior’s multilayered works, which brought seemingly incompatible fragments of reality together, Nietupski unites different musical styles, sounds and artistic personalities into a single whole. The songs, with lyrics written by poet Izabela Turska-Kamrowska, explore themes including everyday doubts, alienation, separation, faith and the search for joy in everyday life.

This multilayered approach is also reflected directly in the album’s guest lineup. Alongside Bartłomiej Krysiuk, the record features Marc Grewe of MORGOTH, Snorre Ruch of THORNS, Yusaf Parvez of DØDHEIMSGARD, Sławomir “Slavo” Maryniewski of ARMAGEDON and Mariusz “Thrufel” Domaradzki of MASACHIST. The album’s instrumental foundation is built around guitars by Michał Grall and electric and fretless bass by Artur Ołkowicz, while Brian Gawaski handles the vocals.

“Assemblage of Cinematic Idioms” also brings together notable names on the production side. The album was mixed and mastered by Jakub Mańkowski, while the JASMENO logo was designed by Christophe Szpajdel. The project’s visual identity was shaped by Sławomir Nietupski through his graphic design, album layout and hand-painted watercolour illustrations.

While relating the album’s central approach to Hasior’s work, Nietupski also specifically points out that the record was created without the use of artificial intelligence.

“Assemblage of Cinematic Idioms” will be released on September 11, 2026, via Tangled Records. The album will be available in CD, artbook CD, transparent gatefold vinyl, cassette and digital formats, with pre-orders opening today.
