Emerging from the East Coast of the United States, dismal death metal outfit KONTUSION continues to carry the momentum of their debut album Insatiable Lust For Death onto the stage. The band is set to launch an extensive North American tour throughout June and July 2026, bringing their dark and devastating sonic assault to new territories.

Fresh off their performance at Maryland Deathfest, the band kicks off the run with a show in Norfolk. Throughout the summer, they will traverse the length and breadth of the United States, occasionally sharing the stage with Dispossessed. Across select legs of the tour, this pairing adds an additional layer of weight and aggression to the proceedings, while the overall intent remains a suffocating, controlled chaos permeating each set.

At the core of KONTUSION are drummer Chris Moore and vocalist/guitarist Mark Bronzino, joined on stage by Shar Clay on second guitar. This lineup brings the dense, oppressive riff architecture of the album into a live setting, further amplifying the band’s uncompromising and abrasive identity on stage.

Insatiable Lust For Death has stood out since its release as a debut record that has drawn significant attention within extreme metal circles. Released via Profound Lore Records, the album firmly establishes the band’s aesthetic framework through layered walls of guitars, blast-driven percussion, and a razor-edged vocal delivery. Shaped through a range of engineering approaches during its recording process, the final result presents a heavily dense and deeply dark sonic texture.

The tour route follows a wide arc stretching from the southern United States to the West Coast, onward into Canada, and then back toward the East. With shows scheduled in numerous cities including Vancouver, the band will bring the run to a close in Baltimore, ending this long journey on a particularly crushing note. KONTUSION’s 2026 tour stands poised to be one of the darkest death metal operations of the summer.
