Loneshore Unveils New Single “To Stride The Black Earth”
Brazilian progressive/post-metal outfit Loneshore has returned to the spotlight with its new single, “To Stride The Black Earth,” ahead of the release of its forthcoming sophomore studio album, Nothing Left to Deconstruct. By unveiling the track ahead of its official digital release, the band has further intensified anticipation surrounding the album cycle.
Set for release on June 19 via Willowtip Records, Nothing Left to Deconstruct marks the band’s first full-length effort since its 2018 debut, From Presence to Silence. The upcoming record is said to preserve the group’s melodic foundations and atmospheric post-metal layers while pushing its boundaries further through bolder arrangements and more experimental songwriting.
Having already drawn attention with the previously released “Parhelion,” the band once again merges dark atmospheres with progressive transitions on the new single. With its especially dense guitar textures and expanding dynamic structure, “To Stride The Black Earth” sees the band refining its modern post-metal approach even further.
Consisting of seven tracks in total, the album will be released in CD, double vinyl, and digital formats. Production, mixing, and lyric writing duties were handled by the band’s vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Luiz Felipe Netto, while mastering was completed by Magnus Lindberg.
Featuring a lineup that includes Bruno Farinazzo, Luan Moura, Pedro Mercier, and Renan Rubim, Loneshore aims to push its ambitions within the realm of progressive and atmospheric metal even further with its new album.
