New York-based Coven Core outfit Mama Doom have unveiled the full details of their long-awaited new studio album, Eminent Womb. The band have also released the album's second single, "Woven Linen," accompanied by its official music video, ahead of the record's September 26, 2026 release through Argonauta Records.

Having first opened the door to the album's atmosphere with the previously released "Morning Son," the trio now further defines both its musical and visual identity through the new single "Woven Linen." The professionally produced video is built around powerful symbolism and ritualistic imagery that reinforce the band's dark, cinematic approach to storytelling.

According to the band, Eminent Womb is built around a concept that places love, pain, and the resilience embodied by motherhood at its core. Mama Doom describe the recording process as an inspiring experience filled with creativity, while stating that the finished record stands as their most ambitious and emotionally compelling work to date.

Meanwhile, the video created for "Woven Linen" draws attention with its narrative centered on the theme of religious oppression. While placing the figure of the "Mother"—portrayed as the source of all life—at the heart of its concept, the production also features custom-built sets, masks, and striking visual designs crafted through the contributions of multiple artists.

Hailing from New York's Hudson Valley, the trio have emerged as one of the underground scene's most distinctive acts in recent years thanks to their unique fusion of gothic pop influences, psychedelic textures, crushing riffs, and cinematic storytelling. Renowned for their provocative visual work and fearless artistic vision, Mama Doom aim to push those creative boundaries even further with Eminent Womb.

Consisting of ten tracks, Eminent Womb will be released on September 26, 2026 on CD, digital platforms, and a limited edition Ultra Clear with White Smoke coloured vinyl pressing capped at just 300 copies.
