MISTIGO VARGGOTH DARKESTRA Returns After Years with “Shattered Gates of Apocalypse”
Silence Meets Cosmic Darkness
After a long period of silence, MISTIGO VARGGOTH DARKESTRA have returned to active duty with their new studio album, “Shattered Gates of Apocalypse.” Built around dark electronics, ambient, and blackened industrial metal, the new release is set to arrive on September 25 via Oriana Music on CD, LP, and tape.
The first sign of the band's return came with 'Hollow Solitude', which is also featured on the album. The track is now available on digital platforms, offering the first glimpse into the atmosphere of the forthcoming release.
“Shattered Gates of Apocalypse” serves as the first chapter in a planned trilogy by MISTIGO VARGGOTH DARKESTRA. Rather than adhering to the boundaries of a specific genre, the album is built around an approach that moves between dark electronics, ambient, and blackened industrial metal. The band shapes this combination through dark and uncanny atmospheres on a cosmic scale.
The album's visual identity follows the same approach. The cover artwork was created by A. Brailovsky, while mixing and mastering were handled by Anton Vorozhtsov of TA Production. The album's graphic design comes from Sir Gorgoroth.
“Shattered Gates of Apocalypse” features a total of 10 tracks. Alongside the title track, the album includes songs such as 'Hybrid Life Syndrome', 'Into the Great Void', 'Universal Whiplash Doctrine', and 'Distant Explosions of Hope'. The track sequence is as follows:
'Shattered Gates of Apocalypse'
'Hybrid Life Syndrome'
'Into the Great Void'
'Hollow Solitude'
'Universal Whiplash Doctrine'
'No Peace Remains'
'Blind Stargazer'
'Distant Explosions of Hope'
'Fanged Skies'
'Candles'

“Shattered Gates of Apocalypse” will be released on September 25 via Oriana Music in all formats. The album's first single, 'Hollow Solitude', is currently available on digital platforms.
