Hailing from Radom, Poland, MORR have returned with their new album "Kości zostały rzucone" following an 11-year break from studio recordings. Released independently on July 1, 2026, the album combines the melodic approach found throughout the band's earlier work with classic thrash metal influences.

Formed in 2000, MORR have undergone several shifts in musical direction over the course of their career. The band's 2005 debut album, "Morr", stood out for its traditional heavy metal foundation and keyboard-driven atmosphere, while progressive elements became more prominent on the 2007 single "Medalion". The 2015 release "Popiołem i cieniem… i wspomnieniem się staniesz…" marked another transformation in the band's sound, also shaped by lineup changes.

On their new album, MORR combine the melodic character carried over from their earlier work with the harsher and more dynamic approach of thrash metal. Alongside aggressive riffs and up-tempo passages, the band retain the melodic sensibility of their previous material. The album's musical references include Polish metal acts such as KAT, Hunter and Dragon, as well as Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Death Angel and Nevermore.

The band's lyrics revolve around dark experiences in life, thoughts born from sleepless nights, the consequences of decisions, and moments when a person puts everything on the line for a single choice. On the new material, MORR bring the energy of thrash metal together with these darker themes.

"Kości zostały rzucone" was recorded at FFF Studio in Radom by Daniel Klimczak, who also handled the mixing and mastering. The album was released both digitally and on CD. The record is also being promoted with the tracks 'Kości zostały rzucone' and 'Trupi jad'.
