Two titles from NARGAROTH’s early catalogue, "Geliebte des Regens" and "Unity", are set to be reissued. The vinyl editions, released through Season of Mist’s Underground Activists imprint, will arrive on October 23.

The notable connection between the two releases is that they actually originate from the same recording period. NARGAROTH recorded the instrumental tracks used for "Geliebte des Regens" and "Unity" during the same session, held between June 3 and 5, 2001. The recordings, however, went on to form the basis of releases that emerged at different points over the following years.

"Geliebte des Regens" stands out as a long-form work built around the theme of rain, which runs through both the album’s sonic world and its lyrical narrative. Although the record consists of six tracks, the inclusion of an intro, outro, and a repeated piece effectively leaves four distinct compositions at its core, pushing the total runtime beyond 73 minutes. Long, repetitive guitar motifs form the foundation of its musical character.

"Unity", meanwhile, brings together Rasluka Part I and Rasluka Part II in a single sequence, reflecting the cohesive form NARGAROTH originally intended for the material. Previously released as separate works in 2004 and 2002, respectively, the two parts are presented here as a single eight-track release running 48 minutes and 51 seconds.

A personal loss lies at the heart of "Unity". The release was dedicated to a former member of NARGAROTH who died by suicide in 1995. Musically, the two parts also draw a clear distinction: Rasluka Part I carries a more angry and open sound, while Part II moves toward a slower, more melodic darkness.
