Italian death metal band NECROCENE have released the title track from their debut studio album, "Scumocracy", due out September 18 via Personal Records. The second track unveiled from the album, 'Scumocracy' premiered through NoCleanSinging.com.

On "Scumocracy", NECROCENE tackle themes including the social decay, destruction, and technological obsolescence brought about by modern capitalism through the harsh and direct language of death metal. Rather than embracing the genre's modern technical excesses, the band focuses on the rawer and more aggressive character of early death metal.

The album follows NECROCENE's 2024 EP "Detrimental Paratomy" and marks their first full-length release. Their musical approach draws heavily from the Florida death metal scene of the late 1980s and early 1990s, while also invoking the sound associated with the Morrisound Studios era. Sharp riffs, straightforward drumming, harsh vocals, and crushing slow-tempo passages form the backbone of the album.

Comprising musicians with roots in Italy's underground punk and metal scenes, NECROCENE combine sudden tempo shifts with heavy, oppressive downtempo sections. On "Scumocracy", this approach reinforces the band's themes of social decay and a modern world consuming itself.

The previously released track 'Ordinary Enemy' also appears on the album. "Scumocracy" will be released internationally on September 18 via Personal Records.
