NEOLITH Release Their New Song
Polish death/black metal band NEOLITH have shared another track from their sixth studio album, "Inbir", due out September 12, 2026, via Deformeathing Production. Titled 'Modlitwa na Marny Czas', the song is the first in the band's more than 35-year history to be written and performed entirely in Polish.
According to vocalist Levi, the track is the result of a long-standing desire to incorporate Polish into the band's music. Written by Jacko S., the song may initially appear to depart from the album's Sumerian mythology-based narrative, but ultimately focuses on humanity's shared fate.
Through the figure of Adam, it addresses human pride, the tendency to justify one's own sins, and the evil carried by humanity.
'Modlitwa na Marny Czas' stands out as one of the notable tracks on "Inbir", which follows "I Am the Way", released approximately seven years ago. On their sixth full-length, NEOLITH retain their death/black metal roots while shaping the material around a denser and darker musical approach.
The album takes its title from the Old Sumerian word "Inbir", meaning "war". Themes including power, mystery, spirituality, and the fate of humanity form the core of the album's narrative, while musically the band remains rooted in the aesthetics of old-school death/black metal.
Production on "Inbir" was handled by NEOLITH and Haldor Grunberg at Satanic Audio Studio. The album's artwork was created by Polish artist Artur Szolc.
"Inbir" will be released by Deformeathing Production on September 12, 2026, in LP, CD, and digital formats.
