Italian dark/doom metal band ORBITA will release their debut full-length, "Farewell to All We've Lost", on October 9, 2026, via Aural Music on CD and vinyl. The band has also unveiled the album's first track, 'Rotten Flowers'.

Formed in 2020, ORBITA initially made their mark with a demo rooted in traditional stoner doom. Following several lineup changes, the band's musical approach expanded, giving rise to a darker, more atmospheric, and emotionally charged direction.

"Farewell to All We've Lost" is described as a work that pushes beyond the boundaries of doom metal through heavy riffs, dense atmospheres, and dark melodies. The album was recorded and mixed by Enrico Baraldi at Vacuum Studio. The cover artwork comes from Benjamin König, known for his work with bands including HEXVOSSEL, FINNR'S CANE, and HORNA.

At 9 minutes and 45 seconds, opening track 'Rotten Flowers' offers a glimpse into ORBITA's new era, while the album's longest composition, 'The Spear', runs for more than 14 minutes.
