PERPETUA Release First Track From New EP “Saviour To None”
PERPETUA unveil deception behind the veil
PERPETUA from Edinburgh, Scotland, have unveiled ‘Veil Of Deception’, the first track from their upcoming EP “Saviour To None”, alongside an official music video. The song addresses the deceptive image people can create around themselves through manipulative and narcissistic behaviour.
According to PERPETUA, ‘Veil Of Deception’ is a direct response to those who have hurt them and done so at the expense of others. At the heart of the song is the way people can conceal their true selves and create a convincing yet deceptive impression on those around them.
‘Veil Of Deception’ is one of four tracks on “Saviour To None”, which will be released via Bleeding Art Collective on November 6. The EP brings together the different approaches embraced by PERPETUA’s members as lifelong metal fans. The band’s stated musical framework centres on groove-driven riffs, thrash sections and sing-along melodies, with influences ranging from Pantera, Machine Head and Sepultura to more recent acts such as Decapitated, Sylosis, Psycroptic and Lamb Of God.
During the EP’s recording process, guitars and vocals were recorded by Andy Dickson, while bass was recorded by Stephen Dewar. Drums were recorded by Mark Tindal at DM Studios. Tindal also handled the EP’s mixing and mastering at Open Eyes Productions.
The title track, ‘Saviour To None’, features vocals by Jack Gordon rather than the band’s current vocalist, Ben Smith. The EP’s line-up consists of Andy Dickson and Nick Whyte on guitars, Will Keogh on bass, Ben Smith on vocals and Tony Corio on drums.

PERPETUA signed with Bleeding Art Collective in late 2025. Throughout 2026, the band have shared stages with Employed To Serve, Cage Fight and Crypta, while further shows alongside The Haunted are scheduled for October.
The EP’s tracklist is as follows:
‘Saviour To None’
‘Veil Of Deception’
‘Descend’
‘Fallen Sons’
