PONTE DEL DIAVOLO Release Live Video Featuring Two Tracks from Hellfest
Two Hellfest Surprises
Italian blackened post-punk outfit PONTE DEL DIAVOLO have released a new live video featuring two songs from their 2026 Hellfest performance. The footage captures one of the key stops on the band's ongoing tour in support of their sophomore album, "De Venom Natura."
The video features 'Il veleno della Natura' from "De Venom Natura" alongside the band's live rendition of BAUHAUS classic 'In the Flat Field'. The former highlights the band's use of dual basses and its more pronounced wave influences, while 'In the Flat Field' brings the post-punk roots that inform PONTE DEL DIAVOLO's sound directly to the stage. Together, the two tracks showcase both the atmospheric and darker sides of the band's current musical approach within a single performance.
The live atmosphere captured during PONTE DEL DIAVOLO's Hellfest set also directly reflects the recording approach behind the band's latest album. Released via Season of Mist, "De Venom Natura" is the band's second full-length following their 2024 debut, "Fire Blades from the Tomb", and is built around the idea of nature as both poison and life force. The album's studio recordings were also performed live in an effort to preserve the tension and unpolished live feel of the band's stage sound.
The band described their Hellfest performance as one of the highlights of the tour and said they were pleased to share a portion of the set with their audience.
The live sound and engineering for the Hellfest performance were handled by Danilo Battocchio, who also produced, engineered, and mixed "De Venom Natura" at The Deepest Sea in Turin.
"De Venom Natura" is currently available to stream and purchase via Season of Mist. PONTE DEL DIAVOLO's tour will continue through the end of the year, with confirmed 2026 dates including Summer Dying Loud Festival in Poland on September 4, Into the Void Festival in the Netherlands on September 26, and The Conjuring Fest in Malta on December 5.
