One of the most unsettling and uncompromising names in the black metal underground, Profanatica are returning to the stage with an extensive U.S. tour. The band will be crisscrossing the country throughout the summer in support of a reissue of their cult 2010 album Disgusting Blasphemies Against God.

The tour, set to launch in the final days of July, spans a wide route stretching from the East Coast to the West and back up north again. The reissue, scheduled for release on July 17, will be made available via Hells Headbangers. The band emphasize that they remain fully committed to their aggressive stage identity throughout this run, and are still entirely satisfied with the direction of their latest album Wreathed in Dead Angels.

According to vocalist and drummer Paul Ledney, Profanatica intend to push their onstage “blasphemy and chaos” even further, with setlists reflecting that approach across the entire tour. The statement once again underlines the band’s long-standing, uncompromising stance.

The tour kicks off on July 28 in Maine and runs through early September. Cities including Portland, Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago, Atlanta, and New York are among the many stops featured along the route, while a special show at Brooklyn Steel alongside Agalloch also stands out. Spanning roughly six weeks, the itinerary marks one of the band’s most extensive U.S. runs to date.

Ticket information and the full tour schedule are available via the official tour promoter.
