The aggressive approach established on the band’s previous “Skull Crushing Violence” mini-album is pushed even further across the nine tracks and 27-minute runtime of “Ultra-Noise Warfare.” Despite the contribution of guitarist Kev Desecrator (VENEFIXION and others), who left the band after the recording, the album stands as the first full-length to firmly establish PROFANATION as an entity of their own.

The band’s sound brings old-school death metal in the vein of HADEZ and NECROVORE together with the grind influence of TERRORIZER and DOOM. On top of that, PROFANATION combines the sheer physical weight of bands such as ARCHGOAT and REVENGE with the brutality of Swedish death metal, creating a fast-paced and direct assault throughout the album.

One of the album’s notable qualities, however, is that the band does not rely solely on speed. With their slower-paced structures, “Total Stomp” and “Realm of the Absolute” take the crushing atmosphere of “Ultra-Noise Warfare” in another direction. Iron Bonehead Productions states that the recordings were made to capture the band’s live performance as directly as possible, without resorting to post-production interventions such as punch-ins.

The title track, “Ultra-Noise Warfare,” offers the first taste of the destructive approach found on PROFANATION’s new album and is already available to stream.

The album features nine tracks in total, including “Servile Rot,” “Army of Dogs,” “Nosebleed Razor,” “Vermin,” “World of Pain,” and “Anti.” “Ultra-Noise Warfare” will be released internationally on September 25 in CD and vinyl formats.
