PSYCROPTIC Set To Embark On Major North American Tour
PSYCROPTIC Returns Northward
One of the leading forces in the technical death metal realm, PSYCROPTIC are preparing to return to North American stages following the release of their new album "The Pulse Of Annihilation". The band will meet fans across a month-long autumn tour with support from Inferi, Cognitive, and Summoning The Lich.
Dubbed "The Pulse Of Annihilation Tour", the run will kick off on November 5, 2026, in Clifton, New Jersey, and conclude with the final show on December 6 in Brooklyn, New York. Throughout the tour, the band will perform in several major metal hubs across the United States and Canada.
Before their North American campaign, PSYCROPTIC will also appear for a special run of Australian shows alongside Rivers Of Nihil, followed by four performances in Japan featuring The Zenith Passage, The Scalar Process, Carrion Veal, and Let It Rot.
Drummer David Haley commented on the tour announcement: “We’re extremely excited to announce our first North American shows in support of ‘The Pulse Of Annihilation’. Touring the US and Canada has always been a special experience for us. This time, we’re even more excited because we’ll be performing longer sets.”
PSYCROPTIC released their latest album "The Pulse Of Annihilation" on July 17 via Metal Blade Records. The record stands out as a mature and powerful offering, combining the band’s trademark technical complexity with a more controlled and focused songwriting approach.
Originating from Tasmania, the band have established themselves as one of the most respected acts in the technical death metal scene throughout a career spanning more than two decades. Known for their precise musicianship, intricate rhythmic structures, and boundary-pushing compositions, PSYCROPTIC continue to preserve their signature identity while introducing a more balanced and impactful approach on their latest release.
Vocal duties on the album are handled by Jason Peppiatt and Jason Keyser from ORIGIN. The contrasting styles of the two vocalists add a new dimension to the band’s dense guitar and drum foundation, further intensifying the record’s aggressive atmosphere.
The artwork for "The Pulse Of Annihilation" was created by Belial Necroarts, who has also worked with acts such as Gaerea and In Aeternum. The album is available in digipak CD, vinyl, and digital formats.
The current PSYCROPTIC lineup features David Haley (drums), Joe Haley (guitars), Todd Stern (bass), Jason Peppiatt (vocals), and Jason Keyser (vocals). With their upcoming tour, the band are set to once again reaffirm their powerful position within the technical death metal landscape.
