Finnish old-school metal trio RAPID have unveiled their new track 'The Path of Illusions' ahead of their highly anticipated debut studio album "Enter the Realm of Fire". Set for release on August 21 via Dying Victims Productions, the newly revealed track stands as another glimpse into the band's dark and traditional metal roots.

RAPID first drew attention within underground metal circles with their debut mini-album "Blackstar Oppression Regime", released in 2022. On that release, the band forged a hard-to-categorize sound by combining the energy of speed metal, the aggressive edge of hardcore punk, and the atmosphere of early black metal through their own distinctive approach.

Nearly a decade after their formation, the band are now preparing to present the most comprehensive chapter of their musical journey so far with "Enter the Realm of Fire". The album will showcase a more mature and character-driven identity, blending RAPID's inspirations from the past with the spirit of today's underground metal scene.

On the new record, the band's devotion to the classic heavy metal tradition becomes even more apparent, while the guitar melodies and dark atmospheres expand the scope of their songwriting. Bassist Vincent Revenge's vocals have also taken on a harsher and dirtier character, further intensifying the album's ominous atmosphere.

"Enter the Realm of Fire" will feature a total of 11 tracks. Previously released songs from the album include 'Witchcraft of Horror' and 'Moonless Night'. With the release of 'The Path of Illusions', RAPID continue to offer further glimpses into the dark world of their debut full-length.
