The final announcements for Reload Festival 2026 have arrived, and the organization has officially locked in next year's program. Standing out as one of Germany’s premier metal and rock events, the festival continues to draw attention with new additions to its bill and a range of organizational innovations.

Festival week will kick off with a special opening night ahead of the main program. Heartless Human Harvest, set to perform at the warm-up event, will deliver the first crushing riffs before the start of the three-day festival marathon. In addition, one of the rising names of the modern metal scene, Thrown, has also been added to the line-up. Meanwhile, Dead Phoenix, who secured their place through a competition, represent the latest example of the festival’s commitment to supporting emerging talent.

Following the previously announced withdrawal of Of Mice & Men from the bill, the vacant slot has been filled by Swedish alternative metal outfit Dead by April. The band will make its Reload Festival debut as part of the 2026 edition.

The festival has also maintained strong momentum in ticket sales, surpassing the 18,000 mark and recording one of the most successful pre-sale periods in its history. As the final ticket pricing tier comes into effect on July 1, organizers note that the remaining ticket allocation is limited.

The Reload Festival team will also introduce a new digital system aimed at enhancing visitor safety during the 2026 edition. Through the app-based solution known as SafeNow, attendees will be able to reach festival staff more quickly whenever assistance is needed on the festival grounds.
