Canadian speed metal trio SKUMSTRIKE has released the third track from its second studio album, "Flawless Intrigue From Hell". Titled 'Mastery of Sin', the song has been unveiled via NoCleanSinging, which is hosting its premiere.

Hailing from Montreal, the band’s new release follows 2022’s "Deadly Intrusions". Across ten tracks, SKUMSTRIKE expands its speed metal foundation with thrash metal and death metal influences, drawing on the traditions of Japan’s SABBAT as well as early SLAYER and BATHORY. 'Mastery of Sin' marks the third glimpse into this new chapter for the band.

Another notable detail is SKUMSTRIKE’s cover of Abigail’s 'Satanik Metal Fucking Hell'. Alongside the closing cover version, "Flawless Intrigue From Hell" is said to balance high-speed assaults with slower, darker tracks.

The album was recorded by Patrick McDowell, known for his work with SPECTRAL WOUND, following SKUMSTRIKE’s first European tour. "Flawless Intrigue From Hell" also marks the band’s first collaboration with German label Dying Victims Productions.

The album artwork comes from Chris Kiesling of Misanthropic-Art, who has previously created artwork for bands including MORTUARY DRAPE, HOODED MENACE, and GRAVE INFESTATION.

In addition to 'Mastery of Sin', the album’s previously released title track, 'Flawless Intrigue From Hell', and 'Death Reckoning' have also been made available. "Flawless Intrigue From Hell" will be released internationally through Dying Victims Productions on September 25.
