STEELFEST XV Adds Three More Black Metal Bands
Three More Names Join STEELFEST XV
STEELFEST XV, held in Finland, has added three more bands to its 15th-anniversary line-up. The names, which have yet to be officially announced to the public, include Finnish Black Metal act AZAZEL, Ukrainian band KRODA and US outfit TRUE IRON WILL.
One of the highlights of the announcement is that KRODA will perform their album "GinnungaGap GinnungaGaldr GinnungaKaos" in its entirety at the festival. The special set will offer an opportunity to hear the album as a complete work within the band's discography.
Formed in 1992, AZAZEL are among the early representatives of the Finnish Black Metal scene. Their addition to the STEELFEST XV line-up further underlines the festival's ties to Finland's underground scene. Hailing from Texas, TRUE IRON WILL will represent the US underground Black Metal scene.
The announced line-up also features acts such as ABRUPTUM, DODHEIMSGARD, ARCHGOAT, MYSTIFIER, HORNA, SETH, WINTERFYLLETH, GRAVE MIASMA, INFERNAL WAR and SARGEIST. DODHEIMSGARD will deliver a special set focused on the 1995–1999 era, featuring material from "Kronet Til Konge", "Monumental Possession", "Satanic Art" and "666 International". OSCULUM INFAME, meanwhile, will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their debut album "Dor-nu-Fauglith" with a performance featuring guest musicians.
The organisers have confirmed that more bands will be announced for the 15th-anniversary edition, which is expected to feature more than 40 acts in total.
Limited-capacity SteelStay accommodation within the festival grounds and camping options are also available for STEELFEST XV. Ticket and accommodation information can be found via the festival's booking link.
