French black metal band TAUFPATIN has released ‘Ma Belle Robe au Placard’, the fourth track unveiled ahead of its debut album, “Les Malfaisances de la Taufpatin”. The album is set for international release through Antiq on October 7, 2026.

‘Ma Belle Robe au Placard’ is the fourth track shared from TAUFPATIN’s debut album, adding another chapter to the story of the character at its center. Known in French as “La Taufpatin”, she is conceived as a malevolent witch believed to have originated in eastern France and Elsass and to have lived in the 18th century. A maker of poisonous potions and hideous spells, her hatred of good people and good fairies eventually drives the local population to rise against her, leading to her being burned at the stake.

But the story told on TAUFPATIN’s album does not end there. Years later, the character returns and devises a new plan to take revenge on the good fairies for what happened in the past. The story begins with a rather unusual grievance: after discovering that she was not invited to a fairy party, La Taufpatin grabs her broom and hat, eats a whole pot of chocolate, and plots a nasty trick against the celebration she was excluded from.

This narrative shapes the visual and thematic coherence of “Les Malfaisances de la Taufpatin” as much as its musical identity. The album title translates into English as “The Mischiefs of La Taufpatin” and follows the character’s story from the beginning of her revenge plot through to its consequences. Following previously released tracks such as ‘L’Attente’, ‘L’Affront’ and ‘La Colère de La Taufpatin’, the new single serves as the fourth chapter of this story.

Antiq has also revealed the album artwork and tracklist, with “Les Malfaisances de la Taufpatin” set to feature 11 tracks. The story continues through songs including ‘Ne serais-je plus la Bienvenue’, ‘Opération Vengeance’, ‘L’Etrange Invitation - Le Grand Bal’ and ‘Jolis Gateaux Empoisonnés’, before the album closes with ‘Une sacrée fête de merde’ and ‘Je reste la plus belle’.

‘Ma Belle Robe au Placard’, along with the previously released ‘La Colère de La Taufpatin’, ‘L’Affront’ and ‘L’Attente’, is available to hear via Antiq’s official YouTube channel. “Les Malfaisances de la Taufpatin” will be released on October 7.
