THROUGH THE FRACTURES Release Debut Album “Beyond the Scars”
Scars Become Sound
French modern metal and post-hardcore band THROUGH THE FRACTURES have released their debut album, “Beyond the Scars,” digitally. In the band’s own words, the album was born less out of a planned career move than out of a need to turn their personal struggles into music.
The process that led to the formation of THROUGH THE FRACTURES began in mid-2025. Following difficult periods in their personal lives, the members say they needed to make music again rather than simply wanting to. Coming together became a way to process the anxiety, isolation, loss of meaning, and other inner conflicts they were carrying.
That approach also had a direct impact on the making of “Beyond the Scars.” The band says the recordings were not built around a predetermined concept or a pursuit of perfection, and that they kept the songs as close to their original form as possible. The 10 tracks that emerged over the course of three months represent a personal timeline for the members, in which anxiety and hope, chaos and light coexist.
The album’s central idea is built around a concept that echoes the band’s name: cracks and wounds represent not only damage, but also openings through which light can enter. Through their modern metalcore and post-hardcore sound, THROUGH THE FRACTURES confront personal struggle head-on, bringing aggression and vulnerability, intensity and melody together on the same ground.
A statement released by the band about the album highlights the line, “This album was never planned, it was necessary.” The words position “Beyond the Scars” not simply as the debut recording of a new band, but as the result of the members’ attempt to make sense of what they had been going through through music.
THROUGH THE FRACTURES had already released three singles ahead of their debut album. “Beyond the Scars” is now available to stream and purchase digitally.
