Texas-based war metal outfit TRENCH WARFARE is preparing to unleash its aggressive and dark vision once again with its second studio album, “Achtung! Destroy The Weak”. The band’s new track ‘Dissenter’ has already been released as the first taste of the upcoming record, which will arrive on August 10 via Conjuring Records.

Consisting of eight tracks, “Achtung! Destroy The Weak” combines the band’s trademark savage approach with a heavier death metal edge. Influences from genre titans such as MORBID ANGEL and DISMEMBER merge with TRENCH WARFARE’s devotion to the more extreme side of war metal, including bands like DEIPHAGO, DIOCLETIAN, GENOCIDE SHRINES, TETRAGRAMMACIDE, and SATANIK GOAT RITUAL, shaping the album’s ruthless character.

The album’s first single, ‘Dissenter’, stands out as a strong representation of the band’s heightened aggression in its new era. Vocalist Jay H. Gorania explains that the track’s lyrics explore shifting power structures, collapsing orders, and the perspective of a ruling class seeking to reclaim its former dominance.

“Achtung! Destroy The Weak” was recorded at Come And Track It Studios in Austin, Texas, by John Petri and Justin McClenny. The album was mixed in Florida by Jarrett Pritchard. The recording lineup features Jay H. Gorania on vocals, Tony Goyang Jr. and Dustin Putz on guitars, Jake Holmes on bass, and MALEVOLENT CREATION’s Ronnie Parmer on drums.

Following the album’s recording sessions, the band parted ways amicably with founding member Tony Goyang Jr. and continues forward as a three-piece. The current lineup consists of Jay H. Gorania (vocals), Dustin Putz (guitars), and JP Campo (drums).

Hailing from West Texas, TRENCH WARFARE first gained attention in the death/black metal underground with their 2015 demo “Perversion Warfare”, later releasing the album “Hatred Prayer” through Transcending Obscurity Records. After Nuclear War Now! Productions reissued the demo on cassette format, the band continued to strengthen its presence within underground metal circles. With “Achtung! Destroy The Weak”, TRENCH WARFARE aims to push that legacy into an even darker and more destructive territory.
