Founded in Birmingham in 1969 and fronted by Rob Halford, JUDAS PRIEST has become one of the most influential bands in heavy metal history, with albums such as "British Steel", "Screaming for Vengeance", and "Painkiller" establishing an enduring place in the genre’s canon. Tracks including 'Breaking the Law', 'Living After Midnight', and 'You've Got Another Thing Comin'' remain among the band’s defining classics.

JUDAS PRIEST’s appearance at the festival will bring the band’s current era, following more than five decades of activity, to the TUSKA stage. Their latest studio album to date, "Invincible Shield", was released in 2024 as the 19th studio record of their career.

The festival’s 2027 lineup is also expanding beyond its headliners. Newly announced acts include American metalcore band THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, Manchester hardcore representatives GUILT TRIP, Swedish power metal veterans STRATOVARIUS, and Canadian hard rock trio DANKO JONES.
