UNMERCIFUL are once again hitting the road with a brand-new touring schedule. One of the more punishing names in the American brutal death metal scene, the band is preparing for an extensive US run in support of their latest album Devouring Darkness, while also unveiling notable lineup changes for 2026.

Dubbed the “Infernally Conquering Tour 2026,” the concert run is already being viewed as a major milestone in the band’s career. At the center of the tour stands UNMERCIFUL’s first-ever appearance at Maryland Deathfest. Set to perform at one of the most deeply rooted festivals in the extreme metal world, the band will also bring their crushing live set to multiple cities throughout the trek.

The most striking development surrounding the tour comes on the vocal front. The addition of former Origin vocalist James “Freight Train” Lee has sparked considerable excitement within death metal circles. Known for his ferocious stage presence and savage vocal delivery, Lee’s arrival appears poised to inject an entirely different level of intensity into the band’s live performances.

Following the US dates, UNMERCIFUL will embark on a co-headlining Latin American tour alongside Origin. Stretching from Mexico to Colombia, the run will see Karl Schmidt — previously involved with the band during the Wrath Encompassed era — handling vocal duties.

With both significant lineup moves and an intense touring agenda ahead, UNMERCIFUL are preparing for an exceptionally busy 2026 as they continue to reinforce their standing within the brutal death metal underground.
