UNTITLED WITH DRUMS’ “Shame” Assault: The Mirror of Guilt Strikes Back
New Single “Shame”
The French alternative rock/post-hardcore outfit UNTITLED WITH DRUMS have returned with their second single, “Shame,” ahead of their upcoming album Made Flesh. Released alongside an official music video, the track sees the band shifting their focus away from individual introspection toward those who move through the world untouched by the burden of guilt.
Following the debut single “Matter,” which dissected an obsession with personal power and visibility, the new release steps into a more outward-facing and sharply critical direction. “Shame” fuses anger and a searing sense of injustice into an unflinching, direct narrative voice, delivering what feels almost like a confrontation for the listener. At its core lies an imbalance in how guilt, remorse, and conscience are distributed among different individuals.

Serving as the second preview of Made Flesh, the track clearly signals the album’s dark psychological terrain, set for release on August 21st, 2026 via Season of Mist. The record delves into themes such as the suppressed self, toxic behavioral patterns, and internal decay, delivered in a raw, first-person, unfiltered narrative.
The band state that the central idea behind “Shame” is built around questioning how some people live entirely untouched by guilt, while others are crushed beneath its weight. Framed as a form of societal unease, the track also turns the mirror back onto the listener, urging a similar confrontation.
Accompanied by a video directed by Angélique Delarbre and edited by Martin Le Borgne, “Shame” further sharpens the increasingly tense atmosphere of Made Flesh.
