Norwegian black metal band URARV will release its third studio album, “Nychta Psychis,” on October 16 via Darkness Shall Rise Productions. The album will be available on CD, vinyl, and cassette.

Formed in 2003 by Aldrahn, known for his work with projects such as THORNS, DØDHEIMSGARD, and ZYKLON-B, as well as his distinctive vocal style, URARV have maintained their original approach despite releasing a relatively limited body of work to date.

“Nychta Psychis” runs for a total of 32 minutes, combining the band's black metal foundation with an experimental approach to songwriting. URARV incorporate elements that venture beyond the genre's traditional boundaries, creating an unconventional musical structure throughout the album. Aldrahn's vocal performance is also among the record's notable features.

The album's first single will be released on September 14.
