VEILBURNER Announce Their Ninth Album
VEILBURNER deepen the darkness.
One of the most unconventional names in the avant-garde death/black metal scene, VEILBURNER, have officially announced their new studio album "All that Glimmers is Gloam". Alongside the announcement of their ninth full-length release, the band have also unveiled two tracks from the album for listeners to experience.
Announcing their new work less than a year after the release of their previous album "Longing for Triumph, Reeking of Tragedy", the duo aim to push their distinctive experimental approach one step further. While preserving their trademark chaotic structures, VEILBURNER continue to expand their identity by combining atmospheric intensity and melodic dissonance with an even darker sense of expression.
"All that Glimmers is Gloam" presents a thematic journey revolving around collapse, the dissolution of identity, illusion, and the boundaries of madness. The album seeks to make the listener part of not only a musical experience but also a psychological and philosophical exploration. The dense dissonances, layered compositions, and diverse vocal approaches throughout the tracks further emphasize the band's established experimental vision.
Continuing their work within the realms of avant-garde death and black metal, VEILBURNER remain a compelling choice for listeners drawn to innovative acts such as BLUT AUS NORD, IMPERIAL TRIUMPHANT, DEATHSPELL OMEGA, ORANSSI PAZUZU, and AKERCOCKE.
The album’s musical composition and production were handled by Mephisto Deleterio, while Chrisom Infernium is responsible for the vocals, lyrics, and album design. The cover artwork was created by Luciana Nedelea.
