The origins of the VERMINAEVUS project, brought to life by HEKLA, KARAPAN DARVISH, and EXESOR, remain shrouded in mystery, while the compositions and recordings featured on the album reportedly date back several years. According to the label, the band builds an atmosphere centered around the darkness of lunar surfaces and underground caverns said to exist beyond human consciousness.

The seven-track album explores this cosmic and unsettling approach through compositions of varying lengths. At 9:54, ‘Tempest of Rampant Phrenesis’, which sits at the heart of the album, is one of the record’s longest tracks.

VERMINAEVUS’ self-titled debut album, “Vermianaevus”, will be released on October 30 via Amor Fati Productions on CD and vinyl LP.

The album’s tracklist is as follows:

  1. ‘Nexus of Inexorable Darkness’ — 6:54

  2. ‘The Aching of Caldera’ — 6:13

  3. ‘Tempest of Rampant Phrenesis’ — 9:54

  4. ‘Consumed by Gyration’ — 7:38

  5. ‘Carnassial Torment’ — 3:41
