Polish melodic death/doom metal band WOLIERA has unveiled the title track from its upcoming debut album, “Bagienny stan,” alongside a music video. The band’s new single premiered today via Forever Misanthropia’s YouTube channel.

The video was filmed at Leman Mountain in Piaszno and produced by Tomek Kuźma and Paweł Raubo of EternalFire.Art. ‘Bagienny stan’ stands as one of the tracks showcasing the band’s approach, which bridges melodic death metal and doom metal while drawing inspiration from the Scandinavian metal scene.

Founded in 2021 by Krzysztof Sokołowski (1125) and Mariusz Wróbel (Blow For Blow), WOLIERA’s story is distinguished by its family ties. With the founders’ children joining the lineup, the band brings two generations of musicians together. Vocalist Marcin Sokołowski began making music with the group at just seven years old, while drummer Maciej Wróbel was ten.

Their musical collaboration began during the pandemic, initially taking shape through basement performances of songs by PARADISE LOST, ANATHEMA, and INSOMNIUM. Tymoteusz Wróbel later joined on bass, followed by Aleksandra Sokołowska on keyboards. After playing their first concert at a private charity event in 2022, WOLIERA went on to perform at clubs and festivals, sharing stages with acts including TURBO, BETRAYER, Czerń, Hamulec, Schizma, and MADBALL.

The band’s debut album, “Bagienny stan,” brings together heavy, melancholic compositions, melodic guitar harmonies, and an atmosphere rooted in death/doom metal. The album was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Tom Bishop at Nest Studio in Katowice. The artwork and band photography were handled by Bartłomiej Czajkowski, while the album layout was designed by Kuba Szajer.

“Bagienny stan” will be released on September 30, 2026, through Polish independent label BRR in digital and CD formats. The album consists of nine tracks:
