Dallas-based black metal band WYRM CHASM is set to release its self-titled debut full-length on October 23. The album's first taste, 'Netjer', has already arrived alongside a music video.

Formed in 2015 by guitarist Eric Carrasco and bassist/vocalist Stephen Jeter, WYRM CHASM brings together atmospheric and melodic black metal on its debut. According to the band, cold and oppressive atmospheres are shaped by emotionally charged riffs and forceful drumming.

As the first track to showcase this approach, 'Netjer' also offers a glimpse into the album's overall character. WYRM CHASM describes its self-titled effort as “melodic, yet atmospheric,” adding that the recording aims to fully represent the band's sound and attack.

The album was recorded at Razor Throne Studio in Austin, Texas, while mixing and mastering were handled by S.A.M. Studios in Dallas. The cover artwork was created by Mark Erskine.

"Wyrm Chasm" consists of eight tracks, including 'Netjer', 'Fall of Gaia', 'Throned Entropy', 'Duality of Existence', 'Majestas', 'Eyes of the Eternal', 'Spiraling Decay', and 'Light at the End'.

WYRM CHASM's debut album, "Wyrm Chasm", will be released on October 23 in vinyl, CD, and digital formats. 'Netjer' is currently available to stream via the band's Bandcamp page, as well as Spotify and Apple Music.
