Bahraini atmospheric death metal outfit ZVINDIYAR have unveiled “Shadhavar,” the final preview of their debut full-length release, "Six Rites." Serving as the closing chapter in the album's narrative ahead of its September 3 release, the new single stands out as one of the band's most ambitious compositions to date.

ZVINDIYAR recently drew international attention with “Anqa,” which was voted Best New Metal Song of the Week by Metal Hammer readers. With “Shadhavar,” the band continues that momentum while bringing the conceptual arc of the record to its conclusion.

Named after a legendary creature from Persian mythology, “Shadhavar” explores themes of mortality, ambition, and the desire to leave a lasting legacy. The track blends the aggression of atmospheric death metal with clean vocals, cinematic arrangements, and imagery rooted in Persian mythology. Through this release, the band aims to deliver one of its most fully realized works, both musically and conceptually.

Built around a narrative inspired by Persian and Arabic mythology, "Six Rites" is a six-track concept release that explores themes of transformation, collapse, and transcendence. The conceptual universe introduced through the band's previous three singles will reach its complete form with the arrival of the album.

Digital pre-orders for the album are now available via Bandcamp. Fans who pre-order will receive early access to the complete six-track release and its digital booklet on August 20, ahead of the official worldwide release.
