French brutal death grind outfit GRIT! has released its first studio recording across digital platforms. Titled “So Far So Good,” the release revisits the harsh and aggressive grindcore influences of the 2000s through a modern production approach.

Featuring 15 tracks, the album was recorded at Studio Macrocosme in the Touraine region of France, with the final mastering handled by ODN Mastering. With this debut effort, GRIT! delivers a sound that merges the relentless intensity of brutal death metal with the short, sharp, and chaotic nature of grindcore.

The band’s lineup features two experienced musicians. Julien, who handles drums, guitars, and bass, previously performed with HAPPYFACE and FINAL SHODOWN, while vocalist Gil brings experience from extreme metal acts including HAPPYFACE, NECROPSY, and PULMONARY FIBROSIS.

“So Far So Good” stands as the first step in establishing GRIT!’s musical identity, offering brutal death grind listeners a high-energy and aggressive listening experience.
